I decided that since the train was only $30.00 each way I would go to Washington DC as it wasn’t an overly huge distance from New York City.

I decided about 4 months ago I wanted to go Stateside again (Duncan went to NYC and he inspired me to want to go back again).
I had a look for flights at a price I wanted to pay. I was lucky and found some. The catch: only a carry on bag was allowed and seat selection was for a fee.
